“Brea Fisher is the type of teacher you want to climb atop a mountain to shout about. You want everyone to know. You want no one to know.
With a sense of ease she can create an intimacy and a sense of sisterhood amongst women who have never met. Whether one has been studying with her for years, or is dipping their fingers into the field for the first time - she is there to greet and guide with a warmth that instantly sets a tone - creating an environment that fosters authentic, soul-baring, gut-busting, heart-cracking energetic interaction between all those who gather.
If you have been reading this and thinking about taking class with Brea, with us - the women who gather: this is it. This is your ‘sign’. Do it. You are so welcome here.”
-Melissa O’Neil
for those who seek
To embrace the sword and hold the moon as one act
I humbly bow to you.
As you walk your Dao you will be met by many teachers— guides in the shape of people, trees, birds, beetles— all manner of allies, including those who present as adversaries. I would be honored to serve as an ally in whom you consider a friend.
With a bow,
Brea (pronounced bree)
Looking for Kwan Yin Kung Fu? Same practice, new name. Read about the name change here.
If you seek to rekindle the communication lines between yourself and your Internal Teacher— the authentic essence within— this space is for you.
“To study with Brea is to learn the spaces between sound, and find a home there. Is to hold honey in one hand and a sword in the other. Is to hear the clear bell of truth in the trees, in the wind, in the busy streets. To learn from Brea is to return, again and again, to one’s own inner teacher. To find teachers everywhere. To reside more fully in the heart-mind, and to trust more deeply what it says.
Pain is welcome. Shadow is welcome. Grief is welcome. And so is joy and celebration and play. To be a part of this community is to have all parts embraced in such a way that you can lean back into your own wholeness and trust. Brea returns me to myself, to the highest expression of her, again and again. I am so grateful.”

Qigong Lesson Film Archive
Access a living library of Qigong forms that are alive as a forever resource for those ready to carve out the space
The practices of the Quan Yin Gongfu temple bring practitioners together, virtually and in person, with the intention to dissolve emphasis on competition, hierarchy, and gender bias with which the martial and internal arts field is saturated.
Though most of my offerings create dedicated space for women, those who identify as female or feminine, or who are non-binary female bodied, the Qigong Lesson Films are and continue to be, our reliable and steadfast community for practitioners of all genders.
Here you will will receive a marriage of visual arts, the written word, and poetry with the Chinese internal and martial arts. The forms you’ll learn and potentially take into your heart are those of Quan Yin—Goddess of Compassion and emissary for unconditional love.
The practice I study, share, and for which I hold space is in deepening one’s connection to Self, to others, and to the planet through activating the centered state of awareness in the present moment—the forever now.
Deepen your home practice from anywhere in the world with this Pay-What-You-Like offering. Choose a membership tier that is right for you.

This is an activation of your Internal Teacher, transmitted from Quan Yin, lovingly guided by an ally in total service to bearing witness to and uplifting your highest intentions and most elevated self.
“Brea’s Gongfu is apparent as she continues to deepen on her path of mastery as a teacher and guide. Her consistent presence throughout our six-month mentorship has been invaluable for my personal qigong practice, as well as supporting a more aligned presence throughout my life, work, and relationships. The capacity, in which she strengthened in me, to listen more deeply to the subtle communications of my body, has given me more than I could have anticipated from our work together.”

BREA FISHER
EAGLE CLAW LINEAGE
Founder of Quan Yin Gongfu
My life is dedicated to guiding others in cultivating the subtle dialogue between the body, the mind, and the spirit through the Chinese internal martial arts.
I facilitate a rekindling of the communication lines between oneself and the Internal Teacher—the authentic essence within.
As an artist, my work unites the visual arts and the written word with the Chinese internal martial arts. My daily dedication to the disciplines of Qigong, Taiji, and Gongfu began in 2007, and I’ve devoted my life to the study of Daoist philosophy and lifestyle, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yin Yang theory, and Five Element theory.
I carry the lineage of Eagle Claw Turning Style (Ying Zhao Fan Zi Men), teaching Gongfu Palm + Sword, and Taiji forms handed down to me by Master Sing Chui.
As a channel for the energy of Quan Yin, I receive, study, and share a specific collection of Qigong forms that call forth the essence of Quan Yin through physicality that is based in the lineage of Eagle Claw, and psychospiritually held in the information received when in communion with Quan Yin.
