We are moving from the depths of the Cave to the Willow at the river’s edge.

As we follow the Sheng Cycle of the Five Elements,

we trace our listening gaze upon each tender point along the circle of creation.

Compassion is our medicine now more than ever

and our Presence is the bridge to the heart of the world.

Open to all practice levels; no experience necessary

*For women and those who have historically socialized as such

Attend live or via downloadable recordings

Bowing to the Goddess of Mercy

Compassion restores our willow-strength when the world makes us brittle, allowing us to meet the storm with a supple heart rather than a rigid spirit.

Here, we warmly open our hearts from a place of sovereign inner power, reaching steadfastly into our increasing reserves of courage, to meet our practices with renewed devotion.

Our guide through this threshold is Quan Yin, Bodhisattva of Compassion. She teaches us the essence of what it means to be present with suffering. This does not mean taking it on ourselves, but allowing our thousand-eyed gaze to remain steady and loving upon what we witness— in the world and in ourselves.

The Qigong forms we’ll practice follow the Sheng/Creation Cycle of the WuXing/Five Elements, taking us on a journey through enfolding, arising, illuminating, bestowing, and relinquishing.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR

For you, if you are ready to set down the need to earn your way into grace, and simply receive a medicine that requires no prior wisdom or attainment—only your presence.

For you, if you seek a path for cultivating faith, where the Thousand Hands meet you exactly as you are, without requiring you to be anything more.

For you, if, in the high-velocity energy of this Double Yang Fire year, you’re ready to trade exertion of output for the power of effortless radiance.

For you, if you’re moving through your own deep portals of change and are feeling the quiet, persistent call to be a source of steady, bliss-bestowing presence for those around you.

For you, if you want to experience the Sheng Cycle of the Five Elements not just as a theory, but as a living map to help you navigate your life with the fluid strength of the Willow and the clear sight of the Thousand Eyes.

For you, if you're new to Qigong or to learning with Brea, and you’re seeking a community where deep, martial discipline is balanced with the radical tenderness of the Great Mother.

“I have never met anyone with such a strong and healing presence. Brea truly listens and deeply cares for her students and their physical and spiritual progress. This is community. This is love. This is Being. Quan Yin Gongfu has cracked me open, held me and all of my broken pieces, and has lovingly shown me how to sew myself together again. I am forever grateful for all of the lessons I have learned in this profoundly transformative space.”
